Meet Marie

Hi, I’m Marie — the dreamer, decorator, and host behind The Whimsy Wagon. I turned an old horse trailer into a cozy mobile space so you can transform everyday moments into something special, whether it’s a tiny celebration, a pop‑up, or a styled gathering.

I mainly serve events within about 30–40 milesof home, but I’m open to traveling farther for an additional fee if your vision takes us on the road.

How the Whimsy Wagon was born.

I’ve always loved decorating, crafting, and renovating things. When we had an old horse trailer sitting around, I saw more than just metal and memories — I saw potential.

At first, I renovated it as a mobile yard sale store, a fun way to share my finds and creations. Over time, it naturally evolved into something more:
a mobile event setup and small event spacewhere I could blend decorating, styling, and hospitality all in one charming little wagon.

Now, The Whimsy Wagon is a traveling backdrop for tea parties, markets, photo sessions, showers, seasonal setups, and more — anywhere a bit of whimsy and warmth is needed.

A Little About Me

Outside of the wagon, I’m a wife and mom of three young adults and a nurse. Caring for people has always been a big part of who I am, whether that’s in a clinical setting or by creating a space where people feel relaxed and welcomed.

Some of the things I love:

  • Painting and crafts – I’m happiest with a project in my hands.
  • Gardening – I love growing beauty and bringing natural touches into my setups.
  • Junking and shopping – I’m always on the hunt for unique pieces and vintage treasures.
  • Staying busy – I enjoy having my hands full and my creativity flowing.

The Whimsy Wagon lets me showcase my favorite finds and décor while helping you celebrate your moments in a way that feels personal and memorable.

What it’s like to work with me.

When you book The Whimsy Wagon, you’re getting more than a cute trailer:

  • A space that’s thoughtfully styled with cozy, layered details
  • A host who listens to your ideas and helps shape them into a clear plan
  • Flexible setups for small events and pop‑ups that feel one‑of‑a‑kind

I don’t have a strict “favorite” type of event — I truly enjoy seeing how different people use the wagon and making each setup fit their personality and occasion.
